Losing Inches

Ultimately, my goal is just to have improve my health over all.  So the fact that I may not have removed very much weight in my most recent weigh-in is not that big a deal.  It doesn’t mean that I’m not on my way to a healthier body and lifestyle.  There’s a lot that could easily explain the low numbers here.  But it doesn’t matter because it’s not the numbers that are important.

What is important is that I am losing inches.  Particularly around my waist.  I know this because last Monday, I tried to fit into a pair of 44X30 jeans.  I couldn’t.  Last night, I tried again.  This time I was able to put them on.  While they technically fit, they still weren’t comfortable enough to wear every day.  The fact remains that my body is still making progress towards my ultimate goal.  And because of this, I am okay with getting rid of only 2.6 pounds.

Besides, I’m less than a pound away from my next milestone; 75 pounds down.  I’ll definitely be there next week.
